Precision Plastic Forming Technology

Precision plastic forming technology, which belongs to the category of advanced manufacturing technology, is the combination of modern electronics, computer technology, material science, precision machining and measurement technology and traditional plastic processing. Using plastic deformation to obtain the final shape, size and accuracy of the finished parts is an important direction of the development of plastic processing technology in the world. At present, the development trend of precision plastic forming technology is product precision, complexity and quality optimization, simulation and accuracy of process design, CAD / CAE / CAM integration of mold design and manufacturing, and automation of production process.

Over the years, our research team has successively carried out the research and development of hot, warm and cold precision plastic forming and CAD / CAE / CAM integrated die technology, and has carried out in-depth research and exploration in precision forming technology, die CAD, CAE and CAM technology, and published more than 40 papers. In the new process, new technology research has achieved fruitful results, research level in the domestic industry. In terms of thermal precision forming, the "precision roller technology and equipment for automobile variable section leaf spring" has won the second prize of science and technology progress award of State Bureau of machinery industry, and has been promoted and applied in 11 enterprises across the country“ Automobile variable section leaf spring precision roll technology "won the national invention patent and the fourth prize of national invention“ "Precision forming automation device of automobile variable section leaf spring" won the second prize of Jilin Province Science and technology progress award“ "Roll forging technology and application of machine driven plowshare" won the second prize of science and technology progress of the Ministry of machinery“ "Complex bending shaft forging compound forging process of light car" won the third prize of science and technology progress of Jilin Province“ "Roll forging friction press die forging compound process of internal combustion engine connecting rod" won the third prize of science and technology progress of the Ministry of machinery, and was popularized and applied in four enterprises nationwide. In the aspect of cold and warm precision forming, the research and development of cold and warm precision forming technology for high precision complex parts of cars and motorcycles have been carried out in recent years. Among them, the key scientific and technological projects of Jilin Province are "cold precision forging technology of spur gear", "Research on warm precision forging technology of car constant velocity universal joint", "cold closed forging technology of car complex parts", "cold extrusion forming technology of motorcycle spline shaft" of Ministry of machinery, and "complete set technology and industrialization development of cold precision forging and closed forging" of National Ninth Five Year Plan Jilin Province Youth Fund Project "numerical simulation of wheel precision forging process" has passed the appraisal and acceptance successively, and the precision of cold precision forging tooth profile reaches grade 7, which can replace precision machining and directly use on truck. The above results lay the leading position of this research direction in the same industry in China.

In the developed countries of automobile industry, the emergence of various emerging technologies in recent years has continuously improved the overall technical level of engine manufacturing and equipment manufacturing. Connecting rod expanding and breaking technology and assembled camshaft processing technology are the latest technologies developed in the world in the 1990s. They are novel in conception, economical in operation and remarkable in benefit. They can realize flexible processing and agile manufacturing, which is a great change to the traditional processing method. This research team is committed to the research and development of automation technology and production equipment for the key parts manufacturing industry of automobile engine. In China, it is the first to carry out the research on "technology and equipment of engine connecting rod breaking" and "processing technology and equipment of assembled camshaft". And has been funded by Jilin Provincial Planning Commission, Jilin Provincial Department of science and technology, Ministry of education, Ministry of science and technology. At present, the research work in the aspects of technical principle, process method and automatic production equipment has achieved good phased results, and two achievements have passed the Ministry and provincial appraisal, filling the gap of domestic research and application. It is of great significance for the domestic automobile engine industry to fundamentally change the backward processing methods, improve the overall production technology level, reduce production costs and increase economic benefits.
